What We Do

The aim of the NC TLC Trust charity is to help to support the entire family living with cancers. We want to give our families some ‘parent and child’ time, away from the chaos. We want to bring together parents and children facing the same difficulties to share their experience in the same situation – so they know they are NOT alone!

How we help and support

  • We provide advice and support to families
  • We give funding to help with the high costs incurred through hospital visits
  • We provide emotional support
  • We provide respite for families in the charity caravan in East Sussex
  • We organise activities for families to enjoy together
  • We have setup a community project for our families to enjoy
  • We provide grants for specialist equipment like wheelchairs and major buggies
  • We provide emergency grants for memories for terminally ill children
  • We help towards funeral costs
  • We provide access to national signposting
  • We provide a team of support volunteers that can be contacted by families at any time
  • We take our families on trips such as our Christmas Annual Fantasy Break
  • We hold various activities throughout the year such as: Camping weekends, Hollowell Steam Rally and many more………..

We rely on donations to support our activities as we are a non-profit making organisation.

Any donations can also be  forwarded directly to the charity’s account:

Account name: NC TLC Trust

Days to remember

Christmas fantasy trip to Butlins

With the valuable donations from many companies and individuals, we are able to offer families trips to remember, with shared experiences and support through the network of our families – including those ongoing treatment and those in remission.

Hospital needles and nasty drugs are exhausting for both parents and their families, our days to remember programme gives them valuable recuperation. Research shows that these types of events help with psychological well-being.
